TAGDev 2.0 is committed to the holistic development of its scholars. Beyond academic excellence, the program provides a full ecosystem of support services.
Academic Support
TAGDev scholars receive dedicated academic mentorship from faculty members, access to research facilities, and support for conference presentations and publications.
Mentorship Programs
Each scholar is paired with an experienced mentor from academia or industry who guides their personal and professional development throughout the scholarship period.
Mental Health & Counseling
Student wellness includes access to mental health resources and counseling services through Egerton University's student support systems.
Community Engagement
Scholars participate in community engagement activities as part of their training — working with smallholder farmers, TVET institutions, and rural communities to apply their knowledge.
Internship Placement
The scholarship covers internship attachments that provide scholars with real-world experience in agribusiness, value chains, and agricultural enterprises.
Financial Support
Full-board comprehensive scholarship covers tuition, research costs, living expenses, accommodation, a laptop, and entrepreneurship training — so scholars can focus entirely on their studies.
