TAGDev-UMB Meeting Kicks Off at Egerton University with Strong Call for Transformation
In line with the TAGDev 2.0 program's commitment to institutional accountability, transparency, and alignment with university priorities, the program has organized a two-day high-level meeting bringing together members of the University Management Board (UMB) led by the Vice Chancellor Prof Isaac Kibwage, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Research & Extension Prof. Bernard Aduda, the Deputy Vice chancellor Administration, Finance and Planning Prof. George Muthaa among other UMB members aimed to provide updates on program implementation progress and obtain strategic guidance from the Board.

TAGDev 2.0 Program at Egerton University is pleased to invite all staff, students, and stakeholders to the TAGDev Agribusiness Expo and Field Day scheduled for 12th June 2026. The field day will be held at TAGDev Model Farm, located opposite Egerton University Gate B while the Agribusiness Expo will be conducted at Physical Science Complex.

Are you a young person 18-35 years ready to turn your work experience into a thriving self-employment venture? TAGDev 2.0 is implementing a youth employment program in Kenya which aims to empower youth with work experience to create sustainable businesses in the agrifood sector.

TAGDev Egerton University is offering support to NEET youth with experience in tree nurseries management, mechanical repair in agricultural transport & machineries, textiles and, agricultural produce & food logistics to establish viable enterprises.
TAGDev 2.0 program 21st Century skills Training
The TAGDev 2.0 Program invites Egerton University students to apply for training in 21st Century Skills. The sessions will run throughout the semester, mainly on weekends and evenings. Participants who successfully complete all modules will be awarded certificates.
